Yes. Have a look at the wikipedia page for ZAZ chance. The car is (or was) made in S. Korea, Ukraine, Poland, Egypt, and is also known as Daewoo Lanos, Chevrolet Lanos, FSO Lanos, etc. After GM took over Daewoo around 2002-2004, the car came to the US as well, sold as the Chevy Aveo. The 2011 US model will be the Chevy Sonic and made in Michigan. Definitely a "world car".
